The EU has responded by creating the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive 2003) in order to minimize WEEE in landfill. As a consequence, dumping redundant IT equipment in landfill is no longer acceptable, with CRT monitors being considered hazardous waste. The Department of Trade and Industry and organizations relating to WEEE reuse and recycling are now making provisions to attain the objectives of this legislation. The certification will be required for any Environmental Audit your organization undertakes.

Once the destruction has been done your company is supplied with this Certification of Destruction resolving your company of any legalities from the EPA. Also we free up companies valuable storage space.

This certificate specify that donors are indemnified of costs related to the disposal of their IT equipment and that Cyber Cycle inc reuse and recycling processes are in accordance with the following legislation:
